Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Krishnaraja puram Bangalore
Department: Finance
Reports to: Finance Manager / Senior Accountant
Job Type: Full-Time.
Salary : 15000 - 20000
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to support our finance team with daily accounting tasks. The successful candidate will help maintain accurate financial records, assist in report preparation, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable.
Process invoices, expense claims, and payments.
Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Support audits and help implement internal controls.
Perform general administrative duties as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software like Tally and MS Excel.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, AAT, or similar is a plus.
Prior experience in a finance or accounting role is preferred.
