The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, managing the day-to-day accounts. They should numerate with a good eye for detail and possess strong quantitative background. A quality Account Officer should be able to maintain accurate financial records.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Accounting experience in a multi-gap environment
• Strong desire to learn about businesses and ability to work in a challenging business environment.
• Possess excellent analytical, problem solving and presentation skills.
• Good Organizational skills and a hunger to work in an entrepreneurial environment. Ability to take initiatives is a must requirement.
• A pleasing personality with excellent people and networking skills
• The candidate should have good analytical skills with command over MS office especially word and excel.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Knowledge of accounting software's like Tally ERP, SAP is must.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Perform activities required for month-end closing (preparing and posting Manual Journal Entry, running reports, performing balance sheet and P&L reconciliation) according to the respective business deadlines.
• Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliation according to Palogix Policies
• Build and maintain strong working relationship with the local operation and controllership team.
• Support the statutory team providing details for preparation of statutory accounts for the respective Business
• Support to be provided to External and Internal auditors
• Prepare tax documents
• Project Accounting & Management
• Payable processing & management
• GST Returns & Reconciliations ; TDS deposits & Returns
• Cost MIS
• Various Accounting Reports preparation
• Fund Position Report
• The candidate will be responsible for financial reporting and analyzing standalone & consolidated financial statement, coordinating for statutory audit and ensuring compliance in the financial reporting process.
• Business planning & forecasting preparing annual business plans at the group level, variance analysis, forecasting etc.
• Preparing financial models
• Co-ordination with stakeholders including banking and other authorities.
