team in maintaining accurate records of inventory, material movement, invoices, and
payments. This position is crucial for ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations,
proper vendor management, and accurate stock tracking. It also provides fresh graduates
with hands-on exposure to accounts and inventory processes, forming a strong foundation
for their career in finance.
Accounts & Invoicing:
• Invoice Recording: Maintain accurate records of vendor invoices and customer
invoices (if applicable).
• Payment Processing: Assist in preparing vendor payments, ensuring approvals are in
place.
• Reconciliation: Support reconciliation of vendor accounts and resolve invoice
discrepancies.
• Documentation: Ensure timely filing of vouchers, bills, and supporting records.
Inventory & Material Tracking:
• Stock Records: Maintain updated records of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Audit Support: Assist in regular stock verification and reconciliation with physical
inventory.
• Coordination: Work with the stores/warehouse team to track material movement and
stock levels.
• Reporting: Prepare basic reports on consumption, shortages, and availability of
materials.
General Accounting Support:
• Data Entry: Enter accounting and stock-related data in MS Excel/ERP/Tally.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly statements.
• Compliance Support: Maintain organized records for audits and statutory compliance.
• Team Support: Provide day-to-day assistance to the senior accounts staff.
Skills & Competencies
• Educational Qualification: B. Com / BBA / Equivalent (Freshers welcome).
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of accounting principles, MS Excel, and familiarity
with Tally/ERP/Accounting systems preferred.
• Soft Skills: Attention to detail, willingness to learn, time management, and effective
communication.
• Work Approach: Ability to work under supervision, maintain accuracy, and handle
routine tasks consistently.
