Purpose of the role
Accounts Executive will be acting as a member of the Finance team. Finance team manages General Accounting / Consolidation / Prepayments /Accruals and provisions for India Accounts..
Skills, knowledge, experience and exposure
Transactional:
AP processing–Checking invoices, acceptance, posting
Client Invoicing – Generation of AR invoices
Intercompany invoicing
Cash allocations (remittance posting)
Statement reconciliations – Clients, Suppliers
Addressing supplier queries
Staff expense processing
Investigating and resolution of client queries
Supplier payment processing – Payment runs
General Accounting / Consolidation / Prepayments /Accruals and provisions
Working knowledge of India taxes
Fixed Assets – Accounting & depreciation
Month-end close procedures
MIS – Ageing, cash-flow and other report
Laise with Statutory Auditors
Taxation
Prepare tax payments
Estimate and track tax returns
Complete quarterly and annual tax reports
Organize and update the company’s tax database
Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals
Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
Liaise with tax auditors, government authority
Forecast tax predictions to senior managers
