Job Description
"Manager/Senior Manager Accounts & Finance
Position Description:We are looking for a person, to join our management team with rich experience in Financial Reporting (Ind AS/IGAAP), Accounting, Budgeting, Statutory Compliances i.e. Income Tax, GST, Companies Act and Regulatory Compliances (RBI/NHB), Audits. This position is located at our Mumbai Corporate Office and will be reporting to VP Finance/ CFO.Responsibilities:
Develop, implement Financial controls, and oversee defined financial procedure and process.
Review budgets, cash flow, financial and management accounts.
Preparation of Annual/Half yearly/Quarterly/Monthly Books of Accounts, Balance Sheet and Financial Reporting under Ind AS and IGAAP.
Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements for all stakeholders in accordance with prevailing accounting principles.
Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting as compared to budget.
Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
Ensure statutory compliance/payments requirements of the organization are met including income tax, TDS, GST etc.
Ensuring timely payments of vendor and reimbursements with adequate approval and policies
Continually seeking to improve productivity and efficiency through the development of processes and controls, apart from automation initiatives
Candidate must be strong in financial reporting and skilled at in-depth financial analysis and providing expert financial perspective and opinions.
Supervising various reconciliations of accounts.
Qualifications & Experience:
The candidate should be a Chartered Accountant.
3 -4 years of experience in finance and accounts majority from BFSI sector
Skills:
A firm grasp on numbers.
Passion for details and ability to explain them.
Strong English communication skills both oral and written.
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendation on business issues.
Ability to work in team environment and manage and lead a team.
