Job Title: Accounts Manager

Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee key accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will lead a small team, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and provide critical support in audits and monthly closures.
Key Responsibilities:·
Accounts Review & Maintenance:
o Review and verify updates to accounts.
o Ensure timely updation of all accounting records.· Monthly Closing Activities:
o Prepare monthly provisions and prepaid expense workings.
o Post necessary journal entries for month-end closures.
o Conduct ledger scrutiny for accuracy and compliance.· Reconciliations & Confirmations:
o Perform monthly reconciliations for statutory accounts including GST, TDS, PT, PF, and ESIC.
o Obtain and verify debtor and creditor balance confirmations.
o Conduct bank reconciliation statement (BRS) reviews.· Reporting & Financials:
o Prepare and submit monthly MIS reports.
o Update Budget vs Actual financial data.
o Assist in preparation of annual financial statements.· Statutory Compliance & Audits:
o Update 26AS records on a quarterly basis.
o Calculate and record advance tax provisions quarterly.
o Support internal and statutory auditors with required documentation and clarifications.· Sales & Expenses Tracking:
o Reconcile sales data from Indecab and E-prompt platforms.
o Track and report on fixed operating expenses regularly.· Team Management:
o Lead and mentor a team of 2–3 junior accountants.
o Review team deliverables and ensure timely task completion.
Qualifications & Skills:· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.·
CA Inter or equivalent qualification preferred.·
Minimum 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience.·
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.,Eprompt, Tally, SAP, or ERP systems).· Strong understanding of Indian statutory compliance and taxation.·
Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.·
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
