Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Accounts Intern to support our Accounts & Finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and supporting daily accounting operations under the guidance of senior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
· Record daily transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments into the accounting system (e.g., Tally, ERPNext, or Excel).
· Maintain organized records of invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents in both physical and digital formats.
· Assist in reconciling bank statements with company books regularly and report discrepancies, if any.
· Help prepare and verify GST and TDS data for filing purposes under supervision.
· Generate sales invoices, verify purchase bills, and follow up for timely payments and required documentation.
· Support internal or statutory audits by providing relevant records and information.
· Accurately enter data into ledgers or accounting software and assist in preparing basic financial reports (e.g., ledgers, summaries, balance confirmations).
· Assist in maintaining petty cash records and track expenses with proper vouchers (if applicable).
· Collaborate with departments like Sales, HR, and Purchase to gather or provide financial information.
· Ensure all accounting practices comply with internal policies and maintain confidentiality of financial data.
· Proactively learn and understand basic accounting principles, taxation regulations, and company systems.
· Provide timely updates and status reports to the assigned supervisor or accounts manager.
Requirements:
· Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
· Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
· Familiarity with accounting software like Tally, ERPNext, or Excel is a plus.
· Good communication skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a team environment.
· Eagerness to learn and take initiative.

Contract length: 3 months
Pay: ₹3,000.00 - ₹5,000.00 per month
