Job Overview:
As an Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of and ensuring that financial records are accurate and up-to-date. Your primary goal will be to maintain the financial health of the dealership and to provide financial guidance and support to the management team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the dealership, including accounts payable, accounts receivable
2. Ensure that all financial transactions are processed accurately and timely, and that financial records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
3. Prepare financial statements and reports, and provide regular financial updates to the management team
4. Monitor and analyse financial performance, and identify areas for improvement
5. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and prepare and file tax returns
6. Mentor accounting staff, and ensure that they follow established accounting procedures
7. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and service, to ensure that financial goals are aligned with business objectives
Qualifications:
1. Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting (B.Com), Finance, or a related field
2. Experience as Account Manager in the automotive industry or a dealership environment
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
4. Knowledge and experience of GST and tax filing
5. Proficiency in Tally and ERP system
