Job Summary:
Hectar Global is seeking an experienced and reliable Accounts Manager to manage the accounting and financial functions. The Accounts Manager will be responsible for bookkeeping, preparation of accounts and preparing financial reports for the management.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the accounting and financial functions of all 4 subsidiaries of Hectar Global and communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders.
Implement accounting systems and technologies to streamline accounting processes, improve efficiency and enhance data accuracy.
Prepare financial statements such as income statements, trial balance, cashflow statements and balance sheets.
Maintain and reconcile ledgers, bank statements, and accounts.
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and regulations.
Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, investors, auditors, tax authorities, regulatory agencies.
Establish and maintain effective internal controls and risk management strategies to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
Oversee cashflow management, including monitoring cash balances, optimizing working capital and assist in managing banking relationships.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Familiarity with accounting software and systems.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Salary: ₹30,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
