Full Job Description
The ideal candidate will lead the accounts team, have experience handling payroll processing, account reconciliation, accounts payable, processing check request and more. He/She will work closely with the auditors/chartered accountant and company directors. We’re looking for a candidate who has strong attention to detail, leadership qualities, a solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and experience with general office tasks.
Reconcile bank statements by comparing transactions to the general ledger.
Monitor day-to-day operations of the Finance department, including filing, report generation, budget review, etc.
Process monthly payroll accurately and timely.
Maintain accounting documents and records, ensuring all files are up to date.
Preparation of Fund Requirement & Utilization Statements of the Company.
Monitoring of and verification of Revenue booked by accounts team.
Monitoring of Payable Statements of various authorities.
Ensuring timely payments of TDS, Service Tax, Provident Fund, ESIC and Other Statutory Dues.
Monitoring of booking of Invoices received from various teams and following up for the Invoices for Advances Given.
Preparation of Daily Transaction Report (DTR) of all the bank accounts for management review;
Monitoring timely payments of various recurring dues.
Monitoring of Bank Reconciliations on daily basis for all accounts
Verification of Petty Cash Statements received from various centers
Ledger scrutiny & closing & finalization of books of accounts
Maintain financial records for company by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
Liason with auditors and chartered accountant for balance sheets and tax filing.
Skills Required:
Attention to detail and good record-keeping skills a must.
Exceptionally effective in all working relationships. Competent at handling interactions at all levels in the organization.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize projects to meet tight deadlines.
Experience using Excel and other accounting software. (Tally)
Ability to complete tasks while maintaining all confidentiality requirements.
