Job Role
Purpose of the Accounts Officer role:
The Accounts Officer is responsible to do timely and accurately accounting of fee and recordkeeping and other accounting activities including reconciliation and managing banking transactions by adhering to prescribed guidelines and compliances.
As An Accounts Officer You Are Expected To
• Responsible for end-to end students fee transactions for the branch.
• Ensure collections of outstanding fee, collection from parents within the specified time.
• Responsible for total accounts reconciliation (expenses and receipts) at the branch.
• Responsible for all banking transactions/treasury management at the branch.
• Responsible for providing complete branch accounts tracking financial reports, as per the requirement.
• Ensure adherence to internal processes and compliances.
To be successful in the Accounts Officer role you are required to have:
• Practical knowledge of accounting, book keeping and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and writing emails, comfortable while working on software related to operations accounting.
• Fluency in communication of English and Regional Language.
Must To Have Attitude
• Customer Orientation
• Sense of Ownership and Accountability.
• Result orientation
• Emotional intelligence for working in a Team.
Qualification
• Must have Bachelors degree in commerce or Intermediate CA
Experience
• Previous experience in accounting across industries.
