YOUR ROLE
Reporting directly to the Transactional Services Team Leader, your main responsibilities will be managing the day-to-day payables functions of the Obex group businesses whilst delivering value added service to our stakeholders, through customer focus, collaboration and innovation, ensuring a consistent high level of performance and service is provided, and cash flow of the business is maximised, contributing to the business development and growth opportunities. Other day-to-day activities include:
Processing of local and overseas creditor invoices (stock invoices and expense invoices) within expected time frames.
Ensuring invoices are processed with correct coding and in line with approval requirements and the company’s purchase authority levels.
Managing the weekly and monthly payment runs process.
Payments for all stock/non-stock creditors invoices are paid according to the company’s creditors terms; ensuring we take advantage of settlement discounts where possible.
Reconciliations of creditor accounts and supplier statements are completed monthly, ensuring outstanding items are resolved in a timely basis.
Accurate ERP records of the creditor accounts (invoices, bank payments, allocations) and the accounts payable ledger.
Supplier on boarding, master data maintenance and management.
