Robert Half Finance & Accounting has partnered with a long standing and very stable manufacturing company in search an an Accounts Payable Clerk. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and timely payment of invoices.
Key Responsibilities For The Accounts Payable Clerk
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents
• Process and record vendor invoices in the accounting system
• Ensure proper approval of invoices before payment
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain vendor files and assist in the 10++ preparation process
• Respond to vendor inquiries and assist with dispute resolution
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices
Requirements For The Accounts Payable Clerk
• At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
