Job Description
This +-month contract offers flexibility and WFH. You will be required to work 20 hours per week which you can for the majority fit around your own schedule. To start, you will need to be in the office for your first week in order to get a thorough onboarding and once that is complete, you will be able to WFH for the remainder of the contract.
You will be joining a tightknit finance team of 6 in a global business that is going from strength to strength. The business has a strong reputation for innovation, and they're focused on providing outstanding service to their customer and partners.
You will be providing support across Accounts Payable as the business transitions to Microsoft Navision. This is a great opportunity for you to demonstrate your skills whilst working on your own schedule.
As the Accounts Receivable officer, your responsibilities will include:
Invoice Management: Review, verify, and process incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness
Vendor Management: Maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolving any discrepancies or issues related to billing or payments.
Data Entry & Record Keeping: Accurately enter accounts payable data into the accounting system and ensure proper filing and record-keeping for audit purposes.
Expense Reporting: Assist in the preparation of expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and proper documentation.
Purchase Order Matching: Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure the correct processing of accounts payable transactions.
Assist in Month-End Close as well as Compliance & Documentation.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience of an accounts payable or similar finance-related role for a minimum of 18 month.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with accounting software and data entry.
Good communication skills for interaction with vendors and internal teams.
