Arkansas Talent Group is searching for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, and maintaining financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests
• Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, receiving reports, and invoices
• Prepare and process check runs and electronic payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate vendor files and records
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
• Respond to vendor inquiries and internal departments regarding accounts payable matters
• Monitor accounts payable aging reports and ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices
• Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls for accounts payable processes
• Assist with accounts receivable, mail collection and bank deposits.
• Collaborate with other finance team members on special projects and process improvements
Qualifications:
• Must have Experience with QuickBooks
• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
