Staff Accountant- A/R oversees and manages the Accounts Receivable function. To provide financial, clerical, and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred with 5 years of experience in SMB.
Experience with QuickBooks, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience of working with teams of English-speaking countries
Service industry experience is a big plus!
Experience in US accounting/GAAP is must.
Responsibilities:
Prepares, posts, verifies and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.
Ensuring that all accounting and reporting is performed timely and in accordance with (local) GAAP.
Monitor Aging Reports to identify/collect slow and/or unapplied payments, and credits.
Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.
Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent account holders to request payment.
