Responsibilities Of The Accounts Receivable Specialist
• Accurately post daily cash transactions with a high level of attention to detail, promptly identifying and addressing any discrepancies before finalizing postings
• Perform daily bank account reconciliations using Excel, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded and accounted for
• Manage month-end financial tasks, including conducting specific monthly reconciliations, adhering to tight deadlines for cash posting, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting
• Handle collections efficiently by dispatching statement and communicating with customers via email; proactively inquire and investigate instances of short payments to determine their validity
• Provide ad hoc support in accounts payable by performing invoice entry tasks as needed, requiring basic data entry skills and a flexible approach to task management
Expected Background Of The Accounts Receivable Specialist
• ERP experience required
• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance preferred, or experience equivalent
• Excel use through formulas, pivot tables, and vlookups
