Job Description Summary:
Provides financial, administrative and accounting support by ensuring the company receives payments for sales and properly records the transactions by posting receipts and resolving discrepancies according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Timely and correct booking of subledger of all payments received in AR bank account.
- Booking adjustments for discounts, refund, and cash in advance cases as well as accounting entries for provision for doubtful debts during month close.
- Responsible for month-end closing activity related to Accounts Receivable.
- Prepare and review the AR Aging Reports on weekly basis to resolve open and aged items.
- Review audit files and information required to understand the entity and its business help for managing audit.
- AR query escalation management
- On an as needed basis to support for any other ad
- hoc projects / assignments.
Required Qualifications:
B.Com
Preferred Qualifications:
B.Com, M. Com, MBA
- German, French or any other European language knowledge
- Advance Excel knowledge would be an added advantage.
- Experience in complex transitions in AR domain
• Education:
Graduate or Post Graduate in Commerce
Travel Requirements: No Travel
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in in Cash Application/Accounts Receivable in global environment.
- ERP knowledge - Oracle AR module
- Flexible to work in different shifts in 24/7 environment.
- Demonstrates analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Good interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
