• Job Description:
• Accounting Functions:
- Maintaining general ledger accounts
- Processing invoices and payments to vendors (accounts payable)
- Managing site billing, expenses and reconciliation (accounts receivable)
- Bank reconciliations
- knowledge of GST returns, payments and inputs
- Knowledge of Inventory Management, Stocks Register etc
• Payroll Functions:
- Calculating employee salaries and worker wages
- Managing deductions like taxes, provident fund, esi and insurance
- Processing payroll data entry
- Generating payslips and salary statements
- Ensuring compliance with labor laws and tax regulations
- Filing payroll tax returns
- Maintaining Employee Master
- Issuance of offer, appointment and other letters related to employment
- Maintaining employee records and attendance data
- Collaborating with HR department on employee changes (new hires, terminations, promotions)
- Performing internal audits related to accounts and payroll
