The Role
We're seeking a proactive and versatile practice administrator to join our small team. This role offers autonomy and variety, with opportunities to take ownership of diverse responsibilities across the practice.
You'll be working independently in our CBD office, managing day-to-day operations with regular Teams meetings and ongoing support from the Principal/Director. This position is ideal for a self-starter who thrives working autonomously while staying connected to the team remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day office operations and maintain professional office standards
Handle client communications (phone, email) and respond to queries promptly
Client onboarding and engagement letter preparation
Entity registrations and ASIC secretarial services
Data entry, filing, and management of client correspondence and working papers
Bookkeeping and BAS preparation
Coordinate meetings and manage diaries
Prepare company newsletters and maintain website/social media presence
Provide administrative support to the Principal and team members
Research projects as required
About You
Essential:
Australian resident with full working rights
Proven experience in an accounting or professional services environment
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with MYOB and Xero
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Self-motivated with ability to work independently
Professional presentation and mature approach
