Job Description
• Serve as a critical member of the Project Team with a fiduciary responsibilities role to ensure the protection of assets and open and independent communication to all stakeholders.
• Ensure complete and comprehensive project tracking disciplines are in place to report project spending, commitments, projections, and total project cost regularly.
• Provide guidance to the Project Team on Bunge Policy and Procedures. Ensure the required control environment is present and adhered to.
• Establish proper procure to pay processes and accounting controls for the project team
• Assist in the identification and reporting of control deficiencies; development and implement improved processes and controls to correct the same.
• Provide guidance on correct accounting classification of project costs (Capital vs. Expense) as well as ensure proper application of sales & use tax rules on project expenditures.
• Facilitate administrative support services for the project team leveraging local (facility) personnel and St. Louis functions as needed.
• Provide project spend and person-hour S-Curves and any other financially related information as needed for monthly reporting to Management.
• Track and report actual cash flow of project spend to the corporate controller's group for Capitalized Interest calculations and Statement of Cash Flow adjustments.
• Openly and proactively communicate as the contact point for financially related inquiries from business units (FP&A, Accounting/Controllers, Tax, Procurement, Industrial Management, etc.)
• Provide guidance on contract questions relating to payment terms, documentation requirements, withheld retainage, milestones, and any financially related information in contracts.
• Develop and implement project disciplines and communications to track and report change orders and spending projections.
• Review all invoices and required supporting documentation, recommend for approval or rejection, and communicate directly with vendors regarding any invoicing questions and issues.
• Prepare financially related reporting tools and present all project financial information in the regular Steering Committee Meetings
The Successful Applicant
AP Manager has to be a CA or MBA (from Tier I or 2) with a minimum of 5-10 years of work experience and understand the Opex projects. The industry has no limitations for the position. AP manager would be preferred to be based out of Mumbai City
