Are you an experienced Assistant Accountant ready to jump into a new challenge?
MNG have an exciting opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our fast moving, collaborative finance team. Working as an integral part of the team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day transactional support, with a focus on financial and management reporting.

Job Description
What you bring to the table
You are an organised and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant with strong technical proficiency and experience within a financial reporting role. You will be responsible for:
Working closely with the Financial Accountant and Senior Accounts Officer
Supporting the CFO and Financial Controller
Assist in the asset management function
Perform month-end reporting, account reconciliations, and journals
Assist with bank account reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
Processing of journals and preparing supporting work papers
Review payments & submission of monthly BAS/GST & FBT, PAYG
Assist with other general finance duties as required
You will also have
Previous experience within a similar role, or related industry.
Tertiary qualifications within a related discipline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, ability to organise and prioritise tasks, work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
High level of communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to create effective working relationships and contribute to the team in a proactive and positive manner.
