Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized assistant controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a important role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting various accounting functions. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and strong analytical skills to ensure the integrity of financial data.
Job type: Full time (40 hours)
Responsibilities include full-cycle of bookkeeping, including:
Accounts receivable
Accounts payable
Monthly bank reconciliations
Payroll administration and reconciliation
EHT, WSIB reporting
Understanding, preparing and remitting HST
Solid MS Windows and Office computer skills.
Experience with Microsoft Business Central or Dynamics NAV is an asset
Preparing reports for management
Coordinating with and assisting external accountants
Qualifications:
At least two years bookkeeping experience in Canada
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience handling a wide variety of office administration responsibilities.
A college certificate in bookkeeping or accounting.
