Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the Record to Report (RTR) function including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
• Ensure accurate accounting, reconciliations, and reporting in compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Manage and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany accounting.
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support audits, compliance, and financial analysis requirements.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and control frameworks.
• Provide guidance, training, and performance management for the RTR team.
Key Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of R2R / RTR processes including GL, closing & reporting, reconciliations, and controls.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP/IND AS).
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage a team and drive performance.
Qualifications & Experience
• Education: Chartered Accountant
• Experience: 10–14 years of overall experience with at least 4–5 years in R2R / RTR and team leadership.
• Prior exposure to shared services / global finance operations is highly desirable
