Job Description for Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts
Min qualification- Chartered Accountant (with min 3yrs industry experience post Article-ship)
CTC- upto 10LPA
Job Purpose:
As a part of Finance & Accounts Team at Gansons Group, you will play a fundamental role in achieving all the accounts and finance requirements for the companies.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Ownership of entire Trial Balance of the unit/company
• Accuracy and completeness of billing, costs and related margins
• Monthly provisions, On-time and accurate monthly closure and reporting, variance analysis
• Monthly schedules for each Balance-Sheet item
• Accurate and timely tax submissions and other compliances (GST, TDS, etc)
• In-depth knowledge of GST, ensuring no input credit is missed/out
• Annual GST audit and returns
• Handling all tax assessments and follow-up for required forms and vendor confirmations
• Lead role & quick resolution for accounting queries & ownership
• Monthly and accurate inventory valuation
• Fixed Asset and depreciation calculation
• Tracking employee Impress & travel advances, ensure settlement as per agreed TAT
• Vendor management and vendor related activities
• Banking and Petty Cash
• Daily bank reconciliations and fund management
• Real-time accounting of vendor invoices and customer receipts and settlements
• Periodic reconciliation and balance confirmation of vendors and customer accounts
• Accounting for TDS entries, periodic reconciliation with 26AS and follow-up on TDS certificates
• Providing monthly information for GST outward supplies
• Ensuring vendor and customer masters are updated with all required information
• Prompt and timely resolution of any operational issues
• Ensuring real-time invoicing (domestic / exports)
• Audits
Reporting to:
Senior Vice President - Finance & Accounts
Minimum Qualification and Experience:
• CA or Inter CA with 4 - 5 years of experience post article ship in managing entire F&A (including invoicing), MIS, monthly closing, banking, working capital management, taxation, compliance, audit, etc.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
• Advance excel skills and other MS application
• Exposure to ERP software must
• Team management and Effective multi-tasking
• Effective communication and time management
• Self-motivated and ability to find work-around solution
