Purpose of the Position
• Support in overall monitoring, reporting, analysis, and coordination of legal/managerial financial statement

Position Content
• Actuals and Closing
• Ensure delivery and execution of financial actuals, closing and reporting activities for the assigned reporting units
• Ensures Integrity of financial statements and management reports in accordance with DSM Accounting Rules, international and local statutory accounting standards
• Performs balance sheet monitoring i.e, financial variance analysis and understanding of open items
• Posting of Judgement based accruals
• Asset management, Pre-close analysis, business reporting and tax postings
• Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting
• Supports Finance controller and business in setting up Budget for the year
• Monitor non-manufacturing Opex against budget, RAF and PY actuals
• Preparation and discussion of Budget/Actuals with budget holders
• Setup of business cycles in SAP with help from GDC
• Business Partnering with Non-Commercial and Non-Manufacturing functions and support through management reports
• Ensuring compliances of legal entity (Statutory Audit, Internal Financial Control, Internal Audit,Tax Audit, Income Tax return, Transfer Pricing)
• Continuous improvement of Finance processes and activities to manage efficiency and quality
• Work closely with FSS team in accounting, closing and reporting (SAP SEM, IAS 12, Crystal, etc) activities
• Ensure correct Intercompany billing for services and reimbursement
• Support Legal entity and Operations Controller in day-to-day activities

• Internal Stakeholders: Shared Service Organization, Business leads, Plant operations team, Local office, Regional Controllers, Other support functions like Tax, Supply Chain, Treasury, Legal, Sourcing, P&O etc.
• External Stakeholders: Statutory Auditors, Auditors of Tax, Transfer Price, Internal Auditor, Cost Auditor, Consultants for projects etc
Education & Experience Required -
• Education - Chartered Accountant
• Knowledge - Financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, Accounting, and Controlling knowledge
• Business Awareness
• Knowledge of ERP
• 4 to 6 years of experience in industry and Big 4s.
