Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager / Deputy General Manager in Finance & Accounting to lead our finance team. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with 10-20 years of experience, including at least 5 years in the Engineering and Construction industries. The candidate should be well-versed in financial and accounting practices, possess strong leadership skills, and be fluent in Marathi. Knowledge of the South Indian language (Tamil or Telugu) will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the financial and accounting functions of the company.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth and profitability.
• Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to senior management.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and investments.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders.
Requirements:
• A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• 10-20 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in the Engineering and Construction industries.
• Proven experience in leading a finance team.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in financial software and MS Office applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Marathi is required; knowledge of a South Indian language is an added advantage.
• Willingness to relocate to Gadchiroli, Maharashtra.
