British American Tobacco New Zealand has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Insights Manager in Auckland

Your key responsibilities will include:

Develop, implement, and track key account plans that drive distribution and commercial growth.
Build account plans with sales, volume, and share targets which aligning with overall business goals.
Establish sustainable, profitable relationships with key accounts and external partners to drive long-term growth.
Measure critical metrics ensuring alignment with global and end-market governance standards.
Manage business-critical projects end-to-end, including scoping, partners alignment, and tracking breakthroughs.
Analyze sales and market trends, preparing actionable recommendations to optimize distribution and investment strategies.
Work cross-functionally to foster a culture of innovation, streamline processes, and implement creative strategies.

What are we looking for?

Tertiary qualification in marketing, business, or a related field.
A minimum of 4 years’ experience in account or category management, preferably within the FMCG industry.
A passion for data, strategy, and market insights to drive performance.
Strong understanding of commercial finance and marketing principles, their application in account profitability.
Experience in use of IRI Aztec/ Circana Temple, Nielsen, PowerBI and exposure to other forms of consumer and shopper insight methods
Advanced MS Word/Excel/Power Point & general computer skills
A collaborative, data driven approach and excellent communication skill.
Experience in FMCG, retail, or emerging categories is a plus!
