4 days a week – Monday to Thursday 9.30am – 2.30pm
Supporting the Finance Director

Nearly 250 employees, 4 sites in Alfreton
Derbyshire, on the edge of the Peak District
Take this part-time opportunity to progress your career in management accounting and enjoy working for our long-established family business. Use your detailed knowledge of Management Accounts to be part of our small friendly Finance Team.
Enjoy putting your finance or accounting experience and extensive knowledge of Excel to good use. Sharp attention to detail and a good understanding of financial management accounts are essential requirements - accounting qualification or equivalent experience required (min 5 years+). Equally important is the ability to be a team player, with a proactive and organised approach.
The job offers the opportunity to:-
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
Produce stock reconciliations and investigate variances
Prepare and post accruals and prepayments
Carry out balance sheet reconciliations
Support the management teams with ad hoc reporting and analysis
