Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager - Accounts and Finance to oversee and manage the financial and accounting operations of our water park. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the overall financial health of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management:
Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Compliance & Statutory Requirements:
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.
Maintain compliance with financial policies, legal regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
Cost Control & Reporting:
Monitor operational costs and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
Analyze financial data to provide insights to senior management for decision-making.
Develop and present monthly financial reports to the management team.
Cash Flow & Fund Management:
Manage daily cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
Monitor collections and coordinate with the sales team for timely payments.
Team Management:
Supervise and guide the accounts team to ensure efficiency and accuracy in their work.
Provide training to team members on financial policies, procedures, and tools.
System & Process Improvement:
Implement and maintain accounting software systems for efficient financial management.
Identify gaps in processes and recommend improvements to streamline financial operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/ICWA preferred).
Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the hospitality or entertainment sector.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Leadership and team management abilities.
Additional Requirements:
Availability to work during weekends or holidays as needed, especially during peak seasons.
A proactive approach to identifying financial risks and proposing solutions.
Knowledge of financial operations in the hospitality or recreational industry is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
