Department : Finance. Reporting To : Finance Controller. Location : Mumbai Short Brief on role This role entitles handlingtaxation, receivables, payables, general ledger etc Key Responsibilities Responsible for Customer Receipt accounting and follow up with customer for outstanding invoices. Resolve issues raised by customer with billing or booking team relating, including customer reconciliations Overview of AP Invoice booking by Back-office team for Port Terminal, CFS, Transporter etc invoices. Resolve issues relating to Vendor invoice with AP Back office, operations or intermodal team. Check and review the Vendor Reconciliations and prepare KPI report Gather KYC information from vendors and carry out verification process Attend to mails of O/s received from suppliers and revert with status and clear disputes Clearing monthly Bank recon items. Monthly review of Balance sheet and Trial Balance items. Filling of monthly/quarterly/annually GST and TDS returns Assisting the Compliance team for compliance audits/assessments and other tax issues. Key Performance Standards Timely review of Outstanding invoice from customer and Vendor invoice processing. Ensure customer refunds are made on timely manner Ensure timely filling of GST and TDS related returns. Monthly review of Balance sheet and trial balance. Requirements And Specific Skills: CA inter or Minimum Finance graduate Experience of working in shipping industry will be an added advantage Hands on experience of SAP - AR, AR, GL modules Knowledge of AR, AP & Taxation Minimum 5-8 years experience in accounting field.
