Assistant Manager - Financial Reporting & Control
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
• Complete deliverables during Month close/Forecast/Budget/MFF process as per agreed timelines along with ensuring delivery of quality results to key stakeholders (Market Finance teams and Cluster CFOs).
• Help markets meet their BPC reporting timelines with respect to Intercompany, Finance, Client & Media Cube submissions.
• Complete the blackline approval for CEE- 400+ accounts and work on the account rationalisation.
• Explain markets on Quality of BS reconciliation for all BS accounts.
• Engage with Cluster CFOs on a regular basis to identify their reporting needs, adhoc submission support etc. and to get feedback.
• Support Market teams and Cluster CFOs with dashboards in Power BI and provide Cluster Insights
• Identify automation requirements within markets and work with CI team to help deliver automation solutions
• Manage ad hoc requests from EMEA Regional team in London as needed, cascade crucial information to markets, and drive compliance.
• Partner with the Regional Finance Control team on key projects on need basis – e.g., Blackline support, GTAS, BR & FR deck support.
• Guide market teams on RFs/Budget/QE/MFF as and when required.
Key Experience & Skills
• Candidate should have a Finance degree (CA only)
• Candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in working with an MNC.
• Blackline related knowledge is a key.
• Demonstrable experience of informed review and analysis of results and forecasts
• Ability to clearly present work and analysis
• Problem-solving and analytical mindset
• Proactive approach and able to show initiative
• Excellent communication skills, confident with working across functions and levels
• Experience of Planning & Consolidation Systems and Reporting tools
• Good analytical skills including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet review.
• Good expertise in Excel is a must
• Demonstrated success in Project execution and inter-personal skills
• Exposure to SAP BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation), SAC would be an added advantage
• Exposure to data visualization tools (like Power BI) would be an advantage
