Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Legal, Compliance & Finance to primarily oversee the organization’s legal, regulatory, and statutory compliance functions, while also supporting key financial and commercial operations across India and Dubai. The role requires strong expertise in legal documentation, compliance management, regulatory coordination, and contract governance, along with working knowledge of financial reporting and accounting systems. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing legal and compliance matters, coordinating with external consultants and authorities, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

Legal & Compliance

Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance for the organization across India and Dubai.
Coordinate with legal advisors, consultants, and regulatory authorities on compliance matters.
Review, draft, and manage commercial contracts, vendor agreements, and client agreements, ensuring they comply with applicable laws and company policies.
Manage legal documentation, notices, and compliance filings with relevant authorities.
Coordinate and assist in legal proceedings, recovery cases, and court-related matters, including attending court visits when required.
Liaise with legal consultants for trademark, copyright, and intellectual property filings.
Monitor and ensure adherence to corporate governance, regulatory filings, and compliance timelines.
Maintain proper documentation and records related to legal matters, contracts, and compliance filings.
Finance & Commercial Operations

Prepare and analyze MIS reports, financial summaries, and Excel-based reports for management review.
Coordinate with the accounts team on financial documentation, invoices, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
Support management with budgeting, cash flow tracking, and financial planning inputs.
Ensure financial documentation and commercial transactions align with legal and compliance requirements.
Operational & Coordination Responsibilities

Coordinate with internal departments, clients, vendors, and consultants on legal, financial, and compliance-related matters.
Conduct outdoor visits to government departments, regulatory authorities, banks, and courts as required.
Identify process gaps in legal, financial, and compliance operations and implement effective solutions.
Stay updated with regulatory changes, especially relating to Dubai compliance and accounting frameworks, and ensure timely implementation.
Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Commerce, Finance, or related field (LLB preferred).
5–8 years of experience in Legal, Compliance, or Finance roles, preferably with exposure to both Indian and Dubai regulatory environments.
Strong understanding of commercial contracts, compliance documentation, and corporate regulatory requirements.
Working knowledge of Tally ERP, Excel, and financial reporting tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple stakeholders, and meet regulatory deadlines.
Professional, well-presented, and capable of representing the organization with external authorities and legal professionals.
Willingness to travel for official visits to government departments, courts, or regulatory offices when required.
Interest and willingness to stay updated with evolving legal, compliance, and financial regulations in India and Dubai.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
