We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payments Switch and Credit Card Implementation Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payment systems, including payment switches, credit card processing, and related technologies. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining payment solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, and providing technical expertise to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Payment Switch Implementation:

Design, configure, and deploy payment switch solutions to facilitate transaction processing across multiple channels (ATM, UPI, POS, e-commerce, etc.).
Integrate payment switches with core banking systems, card management systems, and third-party payment networks.
Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 8583, PCI-DSS, and EMV.
2. Credit Card System Implementation:

Lead the implementation of credit card processing systems, including card issuance, authorization, and settlement.
Collaborate with card networks (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.) to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
Configure and customize card management systems to meet business requirements.
3. Technical Expertise:

Provide technical guidance on payment system architecture, including APIs, gateways, and middleware.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to payment switches, card systems, and transaction processing.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of payment systems.
4. Project Management:

Manage end-to-end implementation projects, including requirements gathering, planning, execution, and post-implementation support.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT, operations, compliance, and business units) to ensure successful delivery of payment solutions.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including technical specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with internal stakeholders (product managers, compliance officers, and business analysts) to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Liaise with external vendors, partners, and card networks to ensure smooth implementation and operation of payment systems.
7. Business Development- Contribute to creating business and client proposals on Payments and cards consulting/implementation. Also contribute to thought leadership by creating TL content on Payments and banking innovation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, PCI Professional) are a plus.
Experience:

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in payment systems, with a focus on payment switches and credit card implementation.
Hands-on experience with payment switch platforms (e.g., ACI Base24, Postilion, IST Switch) and card management systems (e.g., TSYS, FIS, Fiserv).
Strong knowledge of payment protocols (ISO 8583, ISO 20022) and card network standards (Visa, Mastercard, etc.).
Experience with API integration, cloud-based payment solutions, and mobile payments is highly desirable.
Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
