Peppermint is an autonomous robotics costarted out of SINE IITBombay and supported by
Qualcomm. With a focused goal of expediting the advent of service robots, Peppermint designs
and makes commercial housekeeping robots from its factory in Pune and works across from its
offices in Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Dubai, and Austin.
Overview
As the Chartered Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of our company. You will work closely with the management and other crossfunctional teams to ensure our financial processes accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
Responsibilities
A Financial Accounting and Reporting:
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards e.g., GAAP
• Oversee monthend and yearend closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Monitor financial transactions and general ledger entries and reconcile accounts to maintain data integrity
B Taxation And Compliance
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including income tax, GSTVAT, and other applicable tax laws
• Prepare and file tax returns, monitor tax liabilities, and advise on tax planning strategies
• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate statutory audits and resolve any audit queries
C Budgeting And Forecasting
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts in coordination with relevant departments
• Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide insightful recommendations to improve financial efficiency
• Preparation, presentation, and maintenance of comprehensive financial MIS for monthly reporting
D Financial Analysis And Decision Support
• Conduct financial analysis, performance metrics, and key financial indicators to support decisionmaking
• Assist senior management in evaluating investment opportunities, costsaving initiatives, and business expansion strategies
E Internal Controls And Risk Management
• Develop and implement internal control procedures to safeguard financial assets and ensure compliance
• Identify potential financial risks and recommend risk mitigation measures
F Team Management
• Supervise and mentor junior finance team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development
• Foster a collaborative and highperformance culture within the finance team
G Adhoc Projects And Special Assignments
• Participate in special projects as required by senior management or corporate headquarters
• Provide financial expertise and insights for crossfunctional projects and initiatives
Requirements
• Chartered AccountantCA with 3 to 6 years of proven experience in Finance amp; Accounting
• Must be proficient in SAP B1 or a similar ERP system
• Exposure to the Manufacturing, Semiconductor, or Electronics industry would be advantageous
• Must have a strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations
