Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant to lead our Indirect Tax practice in Mumbai. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic tax advice, managing complex tax projects, and building strong client relationships.
Responsibilities :
• Strategic Tax Advisory: Provide strategic tax advice to clients on various indirect tax matters, including GST, Customs, and Excise. Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies to optimize tax liabilities.
• Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing Indirect Tax team. Mentor and develop team members to enhance their technical expertise and client management skills.
• Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients. Understand their business objectives and provide tailored tax solutions.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all indirect tax laws and regulations. Identify and mitigate tax risks for clients.
• Tax Litigation: Represent clients in indirect tax disputes and appeals.
• Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest indirect tax developments and industry trends.
Qualifications & Experience :
• Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in Indirect Taxation.
• Strong technical knowledge of GST, Customs, and Excise laws.
• Proven track record in handling complex tax matters and providing strategic tax advice.
• Strong business acumen and ability to build client relationships.
Desired Skills :
• Experience in dealing with tax audits and assessments.
