Key Responsibilities
• Post cash receipts to customer accounts from banking platforms on a daily basis.
• Raising payments on the banking systems.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Contact customers for remittance advices and to discuss queries.
• Liaison with credit control and accounts payable teams to identify and post transactions accurately and on a timely basis.
• Working with Cash & Bank Manager to streamline processes.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
• Prior experience in an Account Receivable/cash & bank or accounting role.
• High attention to accuracy and detail is a must.
• Experience of handling high volumes of transactions methodically and ability to prioritise workload.
• Excellent numeracy & analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Able to work to deadlines.
• Proactive and able to work tasks without ongoing direction.
• Able to develop strong relationships with stakeholders in ESS.
• Team player with the ability to share knowledge .
