Job Description :
The Associate Financial Accountant plays a key role in supporting the financial operations of the company. This position involves preparing and maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and assisting with compliance to internal and external financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within the finance function
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
• Process accounts payable and receivable entries and ensure timely payments and collections
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• Assist with audits, both internal and external, by preparing required documentation
• Help in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP/IFRS)
. Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and tax consultants
