About you

We’re ideally seeking an Associate with 3+ years post-admission experience to join our highly regarded Real Estate team based in Melbourne. You will be passionate about all aspects of property law and eager to progress your career.

To be successful and thrive in this role you will have the following skills
Demonstrated working experience as a property lawyer
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally (written and verbal)
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with colleagues and stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to be curious, proactive and willingness to learn
Ability to manage timeframes and proactively manage priorities within a team
Collaborative working style with a solutions-oriented mindset

Your role

The Commercial team has a proven track record of handling significant transactions within the Australian property market. Our expertise extends across the entire spectrum of property-related matters, encompassing retail shopping centres, commercial offices, and industrial sites. We have been integral in advising clients from the initial stages of acquisition through to development, providing comprehensive guidance and strategic insight throughout the process.

With the support of an experienced and approachable Partner group and other lawyers and paralegals, you will work both independently and as part of a team, with direct client contact. This is a great opportunity to gain broad general property exposure, working within a collaborative team.
