Job Description
You will be working with a team of Certified Professional Accountants (CPAs) and onboarding specialists (staff accountant).
Scope of work:
- Compilation of financial statements under the CSRS 4200.
- Financial statements review under CSRE 2400.
- Financial statements audit under the Canadian Audit Standard (similar to the International Audit Standard).
- Preparation of Canadian corporate tax return.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has more than 4 years of experience in accounting and taxation in one of the Big 6 firms (EY, KPMG, PWC, Deloitte, Grant Thornton, BDO).
- Has a profound experience working with accounting and taxation standards, Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Entity (ASPE), International Financial Reporting Standards, Canadian Tax Law, US GAAP and US GAAS.
- Has developed expert knowledge of Excel, Word, and Information Technology in general.
- Is oriented towards efficiency and teamwork.
- Is thorough, methodical, resourceful and has an eye for detail.
- Has strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- Has a desire to work in a disrupting business environment.
Shift: Evening shift
