Location: Ahmednagar/ Pune /Jaipur onsite office
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Chartered Accountant to join our Audit & Assurance team as an Associate – Audit. The role involves managing key aspects of the audit lifecycle, including planning, execution, review, and finalisation of audit engagements. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of IFRS and Ind AS, along with experience in preparing Consolidated Financial Statements (CFS) and delivering high-quality audit documentation within strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Audit Engagement Management
Assist in planning and execution of statutory and internal audit engagements.
Perform risk assessment procedures and develop audit strategies accordingly.
Execute audit procedures and review working papers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Ensure timely completion of audit assignments while maintaining quality standards.
Financial Reporting & Consolidation
Prepare and review Consolidated Financial Statements (CFS).
Perform intercompany eliminations, consolidation adjustments, and reconciliation.
Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with Ind AS and IFRS requirements.
Documentation & Reporting
Draft audit reports, financial statements, and disclosures in compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory frameworks.
Maintain proper audit documentation and working papers as per professional standards.
Assist in preparing management reports and audit findings.
Data Analysis & Tools
Use Microsoft Excel for audit schedules, reconciliations, and data analysis.
Apply advanced Excel tools such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data validation for efficient analysis.
Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and senior management for audit requirements.
Provide support during audit queries and financial review discussions.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of IFRS and Ind AS accounting standards.
Experience in audit lifecycle management, including planning, execution, and finalisation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments under strict deadlines.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience in audit or assurance services in CA firms or consulting firms.
Exposure to the consolidation of financial statements and group reporting.
Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
