Basic Function
HF Sinclair is seeking an Auditor in Dallas, TX who will conduct routine information technology and operational technology auditing assignments for the Internal Audit Technology teamunder direct supervision.
Job Duties
Conducts routine information technology and operational technology risk-based audits and reviews of internal controls of the Company’s operations
Works with third-party co-sourced IT internal audit (“IA”) provider, under direction of supervisor
Performs routine audit fieldwork testing
Develops recommendations for audit findings, focusing on strengthening information technology general controls (“ITGCs”), quality and efficiency
Assists with documentation and testing of ITGCs for the Company’s Sarbanes-Oxley compliance efforts
Maintains documentation of ITGCs, including narratives and matrices
Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.
Experience
A minimum of 0 years of related experience in conducting internal IT audits or audits of ITGCs preferred.
Education Level
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business information systems, management information systems, or related field is required.

PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:
Concentration in management information system or accounting information systems preferred.
Required Skills
Ability to perform routine review of applications and network infrastructure. Working knowledge of Microsoft products and experience with financial and operational software preferred. The ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbally; good reading skills; the ability to perform intermediate level mathematical calculations; and strong interpersonal skills.

Work Conditions
Office based with travel up to 25% is required by land or air. From time to time, required to work long hours which may include nights, weekends, and holidays. At times, required to work in warehouse/plant environment and refinery/industrial environment, includes but is not limited to working near moving mechanical parts and/or rotating equipment, loud noise and vibrations, and varying road conditions, At times, required to work out of doors and subject to all weather conditions.

Physical Requirements
Job conditions require standing, walking, sitting, talking or hearing, making visual inspections, making precise hand and finger movements, reaching or grasping, ability to perceive colors differences, climbing up to 40 feet, working in high precarious places, the ability to operate and drive all assigned company vehicles at company standard insurance rates is essential, valid State driver€™s license and proof of insurance required. Job conditions may require the ability to wear PPE in emergency situations (beards not permitted).
