Job description
Job Summary

The AVP - Taxation role is responsible for managing financial releases, processing statutory audits, and coordinating with various teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Process Financial Release accruals and other tasks on a timely basis.
• Prepare monthly YTD financials with variance explanations for each branch.
• Support the processing of statutory audit requirements as allocated by superiors.
• Process HO reporting requirements during half-yearly and annual periods as allocated.

Key Responsibilities
• Process RBS/RBI Inspection and Local bodies data requirements.
• Maintain accuracy and timeliness in data submission.
• Present data workings to superiors with adequate comparative analysis.
• Maintain historical data for referencing and reporting purposes.

Additional Responsibilities
• Liaise with Fixed assets, ICAAP reportings, and Other major MIS teams.
• Ensure compliance with HOP and IOP guidelines, JGAAP, and IGAAP related to Fixed Asset accounting and reporting.
• Devise process flows and formats for presenting Fixed Asset Schedules across PAN India.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of ICAAP reporting with suitable presentation to superiors.

Performance Metrics
• Scrutinize major items of Profit & Loss Statements.
• Check movements of major revenue and expense items on a monthly basis.
• Coordinate with other sections to obtain transaction details.
• Advise rectification to related sections on discrepancies, if any.

Reporting Requirements
• Co-ordinate and assist in IndAS reporting and compliances.
• Timely complete and submit reports to RBI after presenting comparative analyses to superiors.
• Provide timely alerts and updates to superiors on identified compliances.
• Maintain accurate records and good documentation practices.
