Bilingual Assistant Customer Accounts Associate - Total Loss, Collections

TFS currently has an exciting 12-month contract opportunity as a Bilingual Assistant Customer Accounts Associate – Total Loss, reporting to the Supervisor of Collections. This role is hybrid out of our Markham head office.
What you will be doing:
Communicate with customers and insurance adjusters
Complete claim rebates on closed accounts
Perform routine follow up on insurance total loss claims or settlements, claims rebates cancellations, and refunds
Produce accurate calculations of total loss settlement letters, and remaining balances due or refunds
Final closing of Total Loss files to generate refunds and invoices
Process incoming paperwork, invoices, receipt of insurance total loss settlement cheques
Provide exceptional service and resolve customer inquiries
Perform additional department collections duties as required
What you bring:
Bilingual – written and oral fluency in English and French is required
College or University degree/diploma preferred
Excellent communication, and decision-making skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Previous experience with insurance claims is an asset
Must be available to work between the hours of 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
