Bookkeeper | Richmond, South West London | Construction Co | £35-45,000
This well established business in the construction industry, is looking to recruit a sole charge Bookkeeper to join its busy team. The role reports to the Directors and will take responsibility for all the Bookkeeper and Accounts within the business. Key duties include:
• Working with the external accountants on quarterly management accounts and end of year financial statements
• Preparation of sales invoices and post to the ledger
• Reconciling monthly ledger accounts
• Reconciling invoices to purchase orders.
• Posting invoices to ledger
• Monthly reconciliation of ledgers to supplier statements
• Regular reconciliation of bank balances
• Processing payment runs for suppliers, subcontractors and general payments.
• Managing employee expenses
• Managing credit card expenses
• Making payroll payments
• Updating general ledgers and review of accounting data
• Processing of journals
The role will suit an experienced local Bookkeeper / Accounts person who is used to doing all round accounts for a small business. Communication skills are key as there will be lots of liaison with Directors and external stakeholders. Knowledge of Xero would be beneficial. However if you have used similar accounts packages, that would be fine too. This is an interesting varied role in an extremely friendly working environment.
