About the Role
The role is responsible for the core accounting and administrative processes of a variety of clients including bookkeeping, preparation of periodic accounts, account reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, payroll and submission of the PAYG, BAS, superannuation payroll taxes as required.
An overview of your responsibilities are as follows:
Bank data coding and reconciliations
Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable & Payroll
Weekly and Month end reporting, including month end close procedures and adjustment journals
Working papers preparation
Preparation of monthly / quarterly management accounts
Budget preparation and monitoring
Administration support including correspondence with clients and suppliers
Preparing specific reporting and excel documents
Business Activity statements preparation
What you’ll need to succeed:
At least two years’ experience in accounting and bookkeeping
Experience with Xero and MYOB
Strong MS Office skills
Strong communications skills
Fast learner
Detail oriented
