This is a office based job, please don't apply if you are not living in Perth and we do not sponsor visas.
This job is suitable for someone looking to join a highly driven, motivated team in a busy office.
On site training provided.
Assisting accountants with data entry / spreadsheets.
Administration tasks to support the team as required.
Must be experienced with ATO, Accounting Software packages to generate reports and manage workflow of a very busy office. Bookkeeping experience is a bonus but not a requirement
About the role
The main responsibilities and duties of the role are:
Data entry & checking client online software
Conversion of data from client system to in-house HandiSoft ledger
Preparation of BAS & IAS
Training clients in XERO and MYOB
Liaise with & develop client rapport, assisting with incoming calls and queries as required.
Generally applying sound Bookkeeping principles and practices, you will need to ensure your work is thorough, complete and ATO compliant.
Ideally you will have:
Experience in Bookkeeping & Accounting, 4+ year experience preferred.
Sound knowledge working with Xero, MYOB.
Experience with in house software HandiSoft would be an advantage.
Strong Knowledge of SGC, Payroll, and small business requirements.
Sound understanding of GST principles.
Be focused and personable, with strong written & verbal skills, confident to answer client queries as they arise.
