Job description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Rogers, Arkansas, 72756, United States. The role involves managing customer accounts, processing applications, and ensuring accurate records. This position is essential in maintaining the financial accuracy and efficiency within our organization.

Responsibilities
• Effectively manage and process both accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Carry out bank and general ledger reconciliations
• Supervise accounting clerks and junior bookkeepers to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies
• Prepare the trial balance to ensure financial data accuracy
• Oversee payroll processing to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time
• Track fixed assets and prepare depreciation schedules for financial reporting
• Perform month-end closings to finalize financial transactions within the given period
• Use applications such as Microsoft Excel or QuickBooks to maintain and update financial records
• Provide customer service by resolving customer inquiries regarding their accounts
• Ensure all customer credit applications are processed accurately and efficiently.
