IFB Industries is seeking a highly skilled and qualified Branch Accountant to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong background in accounting and financial management. As a Branch Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities at our Mumbai branch, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate financial reports to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Monitor branch budgets and financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Coordinate with the central finance team to ensure consistent financial practices across branches.
Assist in audits and prepare necessary documentation.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other legal requirements.
Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.( Fully Qualified)
Proven experience in accounting, preferably in a branch or regional office setting.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
