Job Title: Business Analyst - Lending Products & Core Banking Systems, AVP
Location: Mumbai, India
Role Description
• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with deep expertise in lending products within the banking sector, as well as a solid understanding of core banking systems, particularly Finacle.
• This role requires someone who can translate business requirements into actionable solutions for IT teams, ensuring smooth implementation of projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, the ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and IT teams, and the capacity to contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts.

Your Key Responsibilities
Lending Product Expertise
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of lending products, including personal loans, mortgages, auto loans, and other credit facilities, to assist in the development and enhancement of lending solutions within the bank.
• Provide subject matter expertise to support the development and optimization of lending processes and systems.
• Support customization and product level changes of lending business in Finacle/Nucleus/SBL Vantage systems.
• Good understanding of Early warning systems
• Good understanding on regulatory requirements related to Lending Products
Core Banking System (Finacle) Understanding
• Leverage experience with core banking systems, particularly Finacle, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of lending products within the banking system.
• Collaborate with technical teams to identify and address system-related issues and propose system improvements.
Business Requirement Translation
• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications for IT teams.
• Work closely with IT teams to ensure that all requirements are well understood and properly implemented.
BRDs, Wireframes & Documentation
• Develop comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and wireframes to clearly define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Ensure all documents are clear, concise, and aligned with business needs and IT capabilities.
Testing and Quality Assurance
• Collaborate with QA teams to verify test coverage scenarios, ensuring that all functional and non-functional requirements are thoroughly tested.
• Provide feedback to ensure that defects and issues are addressed prior to deployment.
Budget Forecasting and Control
• Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes for projects, ensuring that timelines, costs, and resources are effectively managed.
• Monitor project expenditures and help control project budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation.
Stakeholder Management
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing concerns as needed.
Change Management
• Assist in managing change requests related to business processes, system enhancements, and product developments.
• Ensure that changes are implemented in a controlled and efficient manner, minimizing disruption to business operations.
Your Skills And Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on lending products and core banking systems.
• Strong expertise with Finacle or similar core banking systems.
• In-depth knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Experience creating BRDs, wireframes, and functional specifications.
• Proficiency in translating business requirements into technical specifications and working closely with IT teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with testing, defect management, and quality assurance processes.
• Strong understanding of budget forecasting, resource management, and project cost control.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
• Certification in Business Analysis / Product Owner is a plus.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with project management and documentation tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
